What the concerts are like
The city’s Summer Concerts page sets out the standing rules:
- All concerts start at 6 p.m. unless the city notes otherwise.
- Every concert is in Crockett Park at the Eddy Arnold Amphitheater, 1500 Volunteer Parkway.
- Food trucks are at every concert from an hour before it begins, “so feel free to come early for dinner.”
- The Fourth of July concert is always on July 4, “no matter what day of the week it falls on.”
- All concerts are free and family-friendly.
In its 2026 announcement the city said the concerts also offer family-friendly activities alongside the food trucks.
What happened in 2026
The 37th season had a theme for America’s 250th birthday, with each night spotlighting an era of popular music, the city said:
- Sunday, May 31, 6 to 8 p.m.: “The Golden Era of the British Invasion,” with The Wannabeatles.
- Sunday, June 14, 6 to 8 p.m.: “The Classic Rock Tribute Era,” with The Eaglemaniacs.
- June 28, 6 to 9 p.m.: the sixth BrentFest, with a beer garden, a children’s fun zone, the Cruizin Keys Dueling Pianos and the 1980s cover band Rubiks Groove.
- Saturday, July 4, 5 to 10 p.m.: Red, White and Boom, with The Downtown Band and a longer fireworks show than in past years.
The 2027 season starts a week later, on June 6, than the 2026 season did.
